covid-19 guidelines

Thank you for continuing to be a loyal client of Moodz Day Spa and Salon. This past year has been challenging, and we so very much appreciate your patience and support!

Recently, both the CDC and the State of Massachusetts issued revised COVID-19 and mask-wearing guidelines. As guidelines begin to relax and as we gradually return to normal operations, please know that our unwavering commitment to maintaining the cleanest, safest and most comfortable environment for you remains unchanged. We will continue to monitor these guidelines frequently and adjust as necessary.

Based on these new guidelines and effective Saturday, May 29th, our updated policies at Moodz will be as follows:

CLIENTS

• You no longer need to call or text when you arrive for your appointment. You may enter the salon and check in with the front desk. Or if you prefer, you are welcome to wait outside or in your car and text or call us when you arrive.
• If you are fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask unless you wish to do so.
• If you are not fully vaccinated, per CDC recommendations we respectfully require that you continue to wear a mask. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. 
• If you would like your fully vaccinated service provider to wear a mask, they will be happy to do so upon request.

EMPLOYEES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

• Front desk staff will continue to wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
• Unvaccinated employees and service providers will be required to wear a mask.
• Any employee or service provider who wishes to wear a mask is welcome to do so.

FACILITIES

• We will continue our heightened disinfecting and sanitization procedures.
• Our waiting area will be reopened and we will be bringing back our coffee and water services. 

While we are pleased to be relaxing our policies as we navigate our return to normal operations, we do recognize that these may be big changes for some. We ask that you please be considerate of others during this transition.
